We at Renaissance Classical Christian Academy have extensive experience in education. Our founder, Pastor Goodwin, opened the Academy back in 2006, and we have been educating Christian scholars from Kindergarten through 12th grade ever since. In our experience, many Christian parents believe religious education at home and at church is enough to equip their children with faith strong enough to withstand the secular world, only to have their children leave the faith once they enter college. We believe Christian education is an invaluable source of support for your child’s spiritual development, and our staff can help your children retain their Christian values into adulthood. In this article, we’ll go over a few of the values Christian education has to offer.
- Biblical Foundations – At our academy, we place a strong emphasis on scripture, teaching all subjects through the lens of the Bible. This approach gives our students a Christian education grounded in Biblical truth, showing them how all subjects are pieces of God’s work. This approach to learning will equip your students to weather the trials of the secular world when the time comes.
- Modeling of Christian Values – Another value our approach to Christian education offers is the modeling of Christian values. Our faculty and staff will not merely teach your students the content of the Bible but will model Christian values for them through their conduct. It’s important for students of all ages to see adults living the Christian faith—the more adults they see demonstrating a Christian life, the easier it will be for them to hold fast to their own faith as they grow.
- Positive Peer Pressure – A third value of Christian education for your child is exposure to positive peer relationships. At our academy, your student will be surrounded by peers who are also raised with Christian values. Our students can help strengthen one another’s faith and inspire each other to glorify God.
