A faith-based education sets our Christian school apart.
For dedicated Christians, finding a “safe space” for education is becoming harder and harder. American Christian parents are finding that the public and many “Christian” schools are indoctrinating their children into a belief system that is antithetical to the traditional Church’s teachings on sexuality, marriage, gender, tolerance, truth, goodness, and beauty. It is incumbent upon every Christian parent to know what their child is being taught and who is teaching them. If you have been looking for an alternative to the secular schools and their teachings, we would like to offer you a Christian “old school” approach to education in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area.
Most parents send their children to Christian schools because they have a religious, philosophical, or social disagreement with the public school system. The desire for a Christian education that reinforces their values and beliefs should be the determining factor in selecting a Christian school. The Bible clearly requires parents, not the church or state, to “bring children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Parents cannot delegate or abdicate this God-given responsibility, but they can give another the authority to accomplish this great task. Therefore, the faculty and staff at Renaissance Classical Christian Academy function in “loco parentis” or in the place of the parents. In that role, we seek to develop a school atmosphere that instructs each child in a way that is consistent with the Bible and supportive of a godly home environment.
Our students are taught to discern the truth and recognize deception. We teach students that God’s “invisible attributes” or character can be seen throughout all of creation as well as what is revealed in scripture (Romans 1:20); therefore, all knowledge is interrelated and teaches us about God Himself. Our instruction will seek to individually challenge children by using the centuries-old and proven classical method of the Trivium. By equipping students with valuable tools for learning, we can help them to become lifelong learners with a passion for their education and their faith.
Learning in an environment like this allows children to blossom and thrive, giving them the best chances for success. If you have been looking for a Christian school that aligns with your values and gives your children a high-quality education, please contact us today.
FAQs About Our Christian School
Your responsibility as a parent is to help your children grow into the intelligent, faithful, strong individuals you know they can be. Our Christian school is the best place for your children to do that, no matter their ages. We offer exceptional K-12 education through a Biblical viewpoint, and we are here to answer your questions about our Christian school.
Is your Christian school associated with a specific church?
Many parents want to know which denomination(s) our Christian school is associated with. The answer is none. We are not associated with any specific church. We merely provide an environment where Christian families can send their children for a robust classical Christian education.
How is your Christian school different from others?
Plenty of Christian schools are Christian in name but do little beyond prayer and incorporating a few Bible verses here and there. Our Christian school emphasizes that all knowledge comes from God, and every subject teaches us about Him. Christian belief is woven into every aspect of our school. We prepare students for the challenges to Christianity that they will face in their lives by using source material, including texts from Nietzsche and Marx, along with the Bible.
How large are the class sizes?
To ensure that each student receives individual attention from our teachers and a high-quality education, we maintain small class sizes. Each class has about 14 students or fewer, so your child can get to know his or her peers and learn in a focused environment.
